The Center For Audio and Visual Education is a new educational direction combining the industry expertise of In Your Ear with the prestige of Virginia Commonwealth University. The goal is to offer unique education experiences for creatively minded individuals seeking additional knowledge in Media Finishing (Post-Production), Transmedia and Music / Audio Production.
Transmedia and Media Finishing are terms we use to describe creation and finalization of communication or entertainment products designed to span across broadcast, Internet, mobile and other electronic delivery systems. The C.A.V.E. program is just beginning and the three courses currently offered will be joined in Fall 2012 with a expanded variety of new class offerings embracing all forms of electronic media. These newly designed classes will greatly expand educational options for undergraduates, graduate students and working professionals seeking a continuing education opportunity.
