Fall 2017

Listen & Capture (Audio Production)

Foundational studio course in audio production that covers acoustics, audio physics and history, and equipment and technologies used in recording and editing.

Class lead by Carlos Chafin & Andrea Stefl

Class requirements: A current laptop with Windows 10 or OS Sierra, A one or two channel audio interface, and a microphone.

Thursdays from 6-8:30pm Starting August 24th.

 

 

Editorial Storytelling (Video Post-Production)

Introductory studio course on motion visual editing techniques, exploring non-linear editing software, film editing history, color techniques, and basic visual effects including animation.

Class lead by Bob Tyskowski

Wednesdays from 6-8:30pm Starting August 30th.

 

 

Emerging Digital Cinema (Video Production)

Studio course that explores how traditional film and video production has been transformed by new technologies, including DSLR and high resolution RED cameras, teleprompting, green screen techniques.

Class lead by Julian Pozzi

Tuesdays from 6-8:30pm Starting August 29th

Lighting and photography techniques.
